Thinking about buying an ibook

thinking about getting an ibook to learn on, one with a bad logic board or something to repair. from 300mhz all the way up to 1ghz these things all look the same, so is it possible to put a 1ghz board/chip into a 300mhz case ? is it the same powersupply or will it short ?

Probably not. Logic boards (and supported multipliers) probably change, even though the generall look stays the same.

one way or another an ibook 366 g3 for 120 is a good deal right ?
