cant get UV workin rite..

welp, finally got my stuff.
only 1 problem: the wires on the cathodes aint long enough! 1 was and the other one wasn't. so i cut the wire and used some of the wire i had laying around from a dead PSU to extend it.. i did a good, neat job swirling the pieces together and protecting them w/electric tape. i dont get what i did wrong :shrug:

yeah, just solder it back together at the regular length or less than 8 inches and extend the power wires before the inverter instead.
