Well, I'm selling this pc to my parents, and deciding to make a new one for me.
The specs on this are:
2.97 ghz p4 non HT
512 dd2 mb ram
128 mb DDR Geforce Fx 5500 Pci card.
So, what, in your opinion, would suffice for me with a budget of 300-500 dollars? I would need a Mobo (PCI-e supported), ram, CPU, tower, and fans and heatsink. I might do some OC'ing with the help of a few friends; but I won't really go all into it. The pc will most likely be running 24/7; as it is the source for my music.
In case you did not want to read my plea:
Please give me a nice setup with a budget of 300-550$; for the following parts:
CPU
Motherboard(PCI-e Supported)
RAM(I'm looking towards 1 gb)
PCI-e Video card(100$-150$)
Fans, heatsink, cooling etc.
Power supply(it will probably be running 24/7)
It is ok if the video card is not over 150$. I just need the ability to keep this pc for a long time; as I am going to college soon.
