Today, I noticed something while at the IASCA competetions...A watercooled amplifier, BUT! It had blue oil in the cooling system and it looked nice! It would move through the tubes in blobs. that wouldnt hurt a pump, right?
i think bazooka or something along that lines came up with that design. but i think you need to find out what kind of liquid is in it?

well that sounds pretty cool..
Everything is going water cooled! I love it.
let me see if i can find my old crutchfield...... Yep here it is. Its Prestone® antifreeze. here is a link to there website right here (http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-ammgkfyuCDr/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=&g=&I=204CHIL&o=&a=) thats too bad :(

Looks a little like the radiator setup in the first Koolance Case, Hmm....

If you have a high viscous liquid like oil for example you can always try to use a piston pump. They are like the pistons from a car, just used to pump a liquid. There are centrifugal pumps (normal pumps) to be used with high viscous liquids.....

If you do find a (positive displacement) piston pump be awre that these kinds of pumps can develop very high pressures. A regular centrifugal pump is like a fan in some ways. If you block the output of the fan it just spins and moves no air(this is called shut-off head). A positive displacement pump physically moves the fluid by pushing it like a car piston. In some cases positive displacement pumps have been known to burst systems because the pump just keeps trying to shove in fluid, even when there is no flow. The oil pump in most cars is a form of positive displacement pump where the oilis caught between two gears and has to move out. If you do build a system with a positive displacement pump make sure you put in a relief valve just in case.

PS
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent way too much time learning about pumps, hence the long diatribe, sorry!
