alright.. i'm trying to use my sata drive as a master drive, but before that it was serve as an slave just for storing files, but i've decided to run windows, but before i can do that i need to fix the ntlrd problem. does anyone have a simple way of fixing it? thank you!

You mean that you want to start using the SATA drive as the master, and run Windows from it? If so have you already booted from the Windows CD, and installed Windows to the new drive?

It sounds like maybe you just copied the windows files over to the new drive possibly? In order to move the existing installation, you need to use a program that mirrors the drive on to the new one. western digital has a free program that does this for their drives as well as do other manufacturers.
