Hi Guys,
Whenever I run Sisoft Sandra on my system, it reports a Vcore voltage of 1.5V, no matter what I set it for in the BIOS. I've tried setting it manually for 1.4, and using the "Auto" settings, and no matter what, it always shows 1.5. Is this a problem with the board, or does the latest version of Sisoft Sandra have trouble with the Pentium D's?
I'm just looking for a modest overclock - not looking to push the voltage on the processor.
Asus P5wd2 Premium
Pentium D 820, FSB@225
Corsair DDR2 PC-6400 RAM 2x512MB
I'm also getting high temp readings from the CPU - 54C at idle, up to 62C at load. I've got a temp sensor taped to the side of the heat sink, and it stays between 30C and 50C.
