7800's vs 6800's

simple enough question havent been able to find much comparison discussion

so ...

are they really worth the price of admission?

is there enough of a performance boost while maintaining reliability levels to shell the bucks

or ... dont get me wrong here ... is it all about ego at this point?

the IQ alone is worth the difference in price IMHO plus the horsepower on top of it all.
