Alright I'm not looking to OC my Kyro 2 but I am trying to OC my 1.33ghz T-bird. Only problem is whenever I try using the multipliers I lose video, just get a black screen... everything seems to post just no video. Changing the FSB doesn't seem to be a problem I can get it running at 142 stable without any problems.... The L1 bridges are unlocked and I've been able to use the multipliers with my TNT2 Ultra but no luck with this Kyro 2. I started a thread here with more info on the situation:

If anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be I'd really appreciate the help :)

I have the same hercules Kyro 2 and a 1.33Gig Athlon but I haven't experienced the same problems. I'm running an Abit KT7AR I usually run @ 1533 (11.5x133) w/o the Kyro complaining.

Are you overclocking the Kyro as well? If so, keep it below 185 or you could have problems. I usually run mine @ 183/183. I would suggest you try the Kyro 2 Reference Drivers (http://www.powervr.com/Downloads.asp) from PowerVR..the gpu maker..instead of the ones from hercules. They run great for me and they also include the fix for DirectX 8. I've had "issues" w/ the herc. drivers.

Check to be sure all the multipliers work on your Athlon if your using the pencil trick. Try backing the chip down to a stable point and running Prime95. The 1.33's are finicky w/o excellent cooling.

Good luck :)
