about 2 years ago electronic play ground interviewed 3Dfx, 1 year later they go under from lack of customers. This only happened because they could not compet with Nvidia's geforce line. Well just today Electric Playground did an interview with Nvidia and i can draw the conclusion of history repeating itself. Remember, Nvidia may seam God like right now, but so did 3Dfx in it's time. Also remember the turning point in the war? It was with the TNT2 Ultra (which ofered higher detail but lower speed) and Voodoo3 3500 (lower quality but higher speed), Then Nvidia delivered the nockout blow, the geforce line. If you notice right now we seam to be at the TNT2 ultra and Voodoo3 point again, where there both close in speed but one has higher qaulity. Will ATi repeat history and deliver a nock out blow with a new series by suprize? Only time will tell. Just remember that all of you Nvidia fans were once 3Dfx fans, untill nvidia. I forsee the same thing for Nvidia. ATi has the reasources, they just need to use them and right now is the crusial time.

hmmm, i like ATI but i doubt that Nvidia is going anywhere anytime soon especially with the bad publicity ATI is getting with drivers........Also I dont want nvidia to go down then ATI will become the fat monopolist and charge lots of money for their chips its the same reason i like AMD they keep Intel Honest......

i'm not sayin it will happen i'm just saying it's a possibility because history likes to repeat itself, from my experience.
