I have a p4p800 asus board and I have always left the memory setting in the bios at AUTO. I was using CPU-Z and noticed the memory tab listed the FSBRAM 3:2. I was surprise because I thought it was 1:1. I went into the memory settings and change it from AUTO to 400. Voila, 1:1 memory settings and a snappier computer. I assumed AUTO meant 1:1 unless impossible, but instead it seems to have meant 266.
NEWay, perhaps there are other dumb p4p800 board owners around who could benefit from the info.
