AA and AF question

in cs:source i have the option to set AA and AF through there but i cannot do it in cs 1.6. i want to have them both all the way up for 1.6 and i was wondering is there a way to set it up without having to change the vid card settings each time.

You can change it in the Nvidia control panel. Go in to advanced options in the video control panel and uncheck the "Application Controlled" box under one of the video settings tabs.

i do that with my ati x800 in bfv but nothin happens, i still get same fps and quality.... whats up with that

I dont think the old CS supports software controlled AA and AF, if I'm mistaken....

Make sure your nVidia control panel settings are on application controlled, otherwise there's no chance in hell.

I also think there's a way to have manually set profiles for each game thru the control panel. I've never played with them, but if manually changing everything everytime is what's getting to you, try playing with that.

Try using coolbits along with the drivers. You do have the choice of app controlled or manual, I use app controlled to make it simple. In conjunction you can setup profiles for the games and most already have a default one to toy around with, good luck.
