2 threads, same guy, same subject ?? Ain't we quick enough for ya ? By the by, welcome to OCers.com
Remember, when ya post have a little patience. If yer thread starts to drop off the page, then just give it a bump back to the top instead of double posting. Enjoy :D

Welcome Instigator, have fun.

First off we need to know about your system, processor, amount of memory, operatin system, motherboard/chipset. A good first step is getting some RAM (memory), it can be purchased @ Best Buy, CompUSA, or any other electronics place. If you have Windows 98 or newer, I suggest you have @ least 128MB of RAM. Post your system specs, and we will try to help ya...

Actually, it's very unlikely you'll be able to overclock that Gateway computer. OEM companies usually have stripped down versions of motherboards without anyway to overclock them. A new motherboard is about your only real option.
