Check out the beginner guides on overclockers.com

Gateway computers don't let you overclock (most of the time) your system. So you might be stuck there.

Your only chance is a software program that changes your FSB to overclock.

Well i have to agree with Zuck.
Your only chance to o/c is by software.
But that kind of software has to support your mobo.
I believe there's very small chance for you to o\c.

Anyway...give it a try.

Well since your new... Welcome to the Forums!

Branded Computers such as Dell, Compaq and HP etc...
are known for not such good overclocking systems...

Well your comp should run with something like CPUFSB or SoftFSB..

Check your motherboard too for jumeprs.

But you'll have to eyeball the mobo to get the PLL IC # so's ya can use Softfsb or CPUfsb.
