hy!
i have this configuration:
abit kn8 ultra
athlon64 venice 3200+
kitt dualchannel 2*256 ddr400 twinmos
P.S. 450w
asus eax600xt-td 128mb pciexpress

my problem is that, i think my vga is too hot!
everest home edition and atitool detect a temperature of 52 celsius of the gpu in idle mode. when i touch it the card is just warm. i know that asus ati new cards have "asus smartcooling" implemented. is this feature hardware or software?. atitool also detects that the gpu fan is at 85%(operating at 5000rot/min).

my questions are:
1. is asus smartcooling hardware? is it worrking without asus smartdoctor? why is my fan working at 85%?
2. isn't the gpu too hot according to atitool?

plz reply fast!!!

Don't worry about it, it's not nearly as hot as a video card can take, and by 85% it means that the fan is not running full speed, and when there is a need for it to run at full speed it will. I never used smartdoctor, but it is most likely software.
