Well, I decided I can't have enough HSFs (even if I do only have a a Celery OC'd to 950...the results I got were interesting...
Both HSFs were able to cool the proc at load (burnp6) to 49 with a 41-42 ambient case temps (I know, I have poor ventilation...turned off my second PSU fan and the rear fan that comes with the Lian Li...) The noise seems about the same level for both HSFs as well...
But the clips. The Dr. Thermal clip is actually really nice. It uses only two socket lugs, but feels VERY secure. The lever to tighten the clip is really nice, despite the limited amount of play in the clip itself. I didn't like about the Glaciator that it seemed it didn't put enough pressure. Also, you can actually press down on one side of the glaciator and it would tip off of the die. The Dr. Thermal REALLY scores points with me on the clip...
Now time to wait for a Glaciator II...
