Just keep an eye on your temps as you go. You can always shut it down if it starts getting too high.

You could always try 11x146 like me.

It'll still be around 1600 but you'll have the advantage of the faster FSB.

Ahh I remember my first overclock. It seems like just weeks ago... Wait a minute, it was weeks ago... anyway, good job.

I always try for the highest mHZ number, but I have O'clocked several chips now, and if I overclock a T'bird to 1800 mhz using all (or mostly ) multiplier, I can gain more "speed" using a FSB only overclock, of around 100 mHZ less. I hope this makes sense. The FSB overclock, is a performance overclock, not just a good number to display.

I'm running Windowz 2k right now, sometimes when it's loading, it gets past the first 2 loading screens, but when it gets to the end of the second loading screen, it does one of three things, it either loads windows... restarts the computer, or the monitor goes into sleep mode and the computer freezes. Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything I can do to stop it from happening? Thanks in advance.

I had this happen and just needed to up the voltage a little. Keep an eye on those temps!
