This game has the best graphics, I can't stop playing Single. There is barely any servers up for multiplayer, but I'm sure more will come up in the next few days :cool:

Yeah I thought the demo was pretty tame, so far I'm enjoying single player a lot and going to test out the new maps for multi. Better be good :cool:
*Edit* Eh multiplayer is fun, but the maps really aren't anything special. If you played Beta MP and the MP Demo that's half of the maps right there. 8 total, hopefully they allow modding as you could make much better maps.

im playing the singleplayer too and its awesome. By far the best of 05 so far.
Not G rated, but that's just imho.

Yep, not G at all, just wait until the last level. It took me all day today to beat it. Not a bad story either, but you need to pay attention to follow it.
that sure doesnt look rated E for everyone... :| :P

What type of settings do you have it set up for ingame? And whats your FPS? I'm curious if I'll have to run in a window mode to let it run on my computer because of my big arse screen.
BTW lovely picture :) I hope to get it either tonight or tomorrow.

Wait till Call of Duty 2 is out :) there goes that title to them by far.
Did you use any AA on the game or does the 6800 GT not handle AA well on fear ?

1600x1200 Maxed (4x AA)
The screen shot doesn't really show the surrounding, but at those settings the game does looking AMAZING. I don't care much for shadows so for normal game play I turn them down so I don't lag. Single Player is a lot of fun, I'm waiting for more people to get MP Servers up & HOPE they release modding tools that would rock.

Tweeker, how far into the game are you? I'm stuck at that one point after you kill the second robot that fires missles. I don't know what to do, I've been runnign around in that area forever.

it most likely is the shadows 96red, I most certainly cant use soft shadowing without bad times in the framerate department and high quality shadows can see low fps in certain parts to, I find medium gives a nice quality as well as really good performance, apart from that max it all out :)

Everything max turn off soft shadows, regular shadows on/minimum. Zero lag.....Soft shadows truly is a killer. Other then that I have no issues running the game, I could care less though about shadows so I'm not missing much.

Everything on max, soft shadows off (because they eat up fps and don't look that great), Vsync on, AA off @ 1024x768. No lag and looks perty good.
