Few ???'s on dual booting and removing daul boots!

I have 98se on my pc and i dual boot it with a ev copy of xp that micro$oft send me that lasts for 180 days. The thing is when i wipe xp off the dual boot promt still comes up asking me what os i want to use. so how do i get this away? and also in xp how do i change the boot opions, such as the time the boot pronmt appers for (ie 30 secs or so)....thx alot

There's a file called boot.ini on your c:\ partition that contains all this info (it's hidden btw). If you edit this you can remove the 'dual boot option' and also edit the time Windows waits before it starts booting.
