Hello everyone

I have a 7N400 pro with a AMD-2700+ with 2 Mushkin's 2-2-2 specials.
Would I gain anything by trying a PC-4000 or the like (PC-4400) type of memory. Would this board work with anything other that PC-3200.

Thanks

Daniel Rodriguez

Yes it would work, but just whatch out for ram with Hynix ram, it doesn't work too well with amd mem controllers, check the sticky here that tells you what ram ic a ram module has. But keep in mind that your board has to be able to run at a fsb higher then 200mhz which is not so easy on that board, I had a 7N400-L1 which has the same pcb and it overclocked to 220mhz fsb, cooling your northbridge might help you get higher clocks.

Thank you for the info
I will check on some modules and will post in here see you think.. I think I saw a link with ram info to various brands..

Thanks

Daniel
