Radeon 64mb & UT....

Here's the problem my buddy is having...

Just wondering if anyone else out there is having this problem. I have a new video card...a ATI Radeon 64meg, and on some levels, the walls and players kinda "shimmer"! It was especially apparent playing in the monopoly level....was impossible to see anything!! The other players were even leaving trails behind them!!! Is this just a problem unique to the ATI?? Any feed back or suggestions would be a huge help. Am going to look for any new drivers as well. (running win me)

I use to have this problem (i've got the Radeon 32mb), the 4_13_7075 and newer drivers fixed it.

The shimmering effect is a result of a Radeon card and a Trinitron monitor (or a monitor w/ a Trinitron tube). I'd say update your drivers, and if that dosn't help, get RadeonTweaker and enable the "stop shimmering on trinitron monitors" switch. That should fix it.
