1 calorie = the amount of energy required to heat 1 gram of water 1 degree celsius.

according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_of_fusion, the heat of fusion of water is 79.72 calories per gram, that is, it takes 79.72 calories to melt one gram of ice. so if we have 860 grams of ice, it would take

860g x 79.72cal/g = 68559.2 cal = 68.56 kcal to melt the ice, PLUS
860g x 38 degrees = 32680 cal = 32.68 kcal to raise the water to room temp, EQUALS

101.24 kcal

so the freezer is sucking out 101.24 kilocalories every 24 hours.

according to http://www.onlineconversion.com/power.htm, 135watts = 116 kilocalories/hour, so your processor outputs 2784 kilocalories/24hr.

processor = 2784 kilocalories/24hr
minifreezer = -101.24 kilocalories/24hr


so 101.24 divded by .86 is 117.72

so 1Kg/24 hours equals -117.72 kilocalories

so the processor with 135watts puts out just shy of 2800 Kilocalories

so 2800 divided by 117.72 is 23.785

so you need a freezer that cools at least 24Kg/24Hours just to cover the processor heat.
not including the videocard and rest of system heat.

Wow did you ever take the long way around to figure that out.

Why not compare the watts of heat absorption of a freezer with the watts given off by a processor??

because it's more fun to kill calories with frozen water. Also, his answer works out in a number that is used to rate freezers, so you can just look at the rateing of a freezer and see that it has no chance.
