I have a chance to pick up a stick and want to know whether it's bh-5, to go with my existing 2x512mb corsair pc3500 bh-5's.

The info on the sticker on the heatspreader says this:

It could be any one of these: Winbond CH-5 (decent), Mosel Vitelic 5ns (not so great), Winbond UTT BH-5 (awsome)
