ouch. You might want to try emboss. But I dont think that will get what you want.

Convert the image to grayscale, then try Sketch/ photocopy filter. I beleive it's a standard Photoshop filter that comes with PS 6. See attached image

Go to www.ozoneasylum.com and www.handson.nu. There is a thread on the asylum on how to turn a photo into lines. Has about 5 good methodes, see the photoshop section. Between www.ozoneasylum.com , www.handson.nu and www.gurusnetwork.com you can find anything you could want on photoshop. Those people are good at those sites.:D
