is it worth? 9800ori iceQ -> 6600

i was thinking if there is a consistable difference between my r9800pro iceq and a 6600 on agp..

as i understand 6600gt isnt agp and i`ve read around and ati exept the high end x800 has pretty mediocre cards...

oh and 6800 is pci`x that leaves... 6600

so is is worth it..

6600gt and 6800 cards can be had in agp flavor

9800pro to 6600gt would barely be worth it. 9800pro to 6800 would probably be much more beneficial, especially if you are able to unlock the extra 4 pipes. :D.

ok money... pfff 180-200 bucks...

i get 2600 3dmarks in 05 (418*362 overclockeed)

i took a look at tomshardware and:

and r9800 still gets it going.. i read some more.. and found out that 6600, 6600gt as well as 6800 and 6800gt are made for agp too.

-- so.. you say only if i change to 6800 its worth the change...

$200 was my limit, so i went w/the xfx geforce 6800.

don't have 16 pipes, but it still oc's.

bfg usually has good cards, but also a little more expensive.

xfx is usually a little cheaper.

my eVGA agp 6800 went to 16pp 6vp and overclocked pretty well too. got me 6k 05 marks :) I miss that card, had to sell it when I went a64
