Just mute it, it is not scary at all on mute. I dont do this but I tried it for a second to see if it fit my scary movies arent scary without sound theory, and yes works like a charm.

play it with cheats, always helps when you know that even though that girl is there, you got god mode and every weapon with infinite ammo.

I feel disappointed with it so far, it sets the atmosphere beautifully and its a brilliant game. I just hope for my of a scare value later on :)

the last 2 of those panics videos were the funniest.

Cheats dont make the game fun anymore. the whole point of the game is to be scared

There are 2 modes of play in a FPS, Scared and Mindless Killing. Look at CS for the latter, Doom3 and FEAR for the former.

I didn't like D3 at all though, it never seemed to scare me. Very predictable. I don't have FEAR yet, but I hope its better.

Oh yes, Fear is alot better than Doom3. I haven't progressed far through the game yet so maybe I'm missing out on a bit.. heres hoping it gets better, cause ist freakin' awesome so far :)
