DN800-SLI w/ faster mem

Wasn't sure whether to post this in the motherboard section or not, but I was wondering if anyone has run the DN800-SLI with faster memory, or even if it would make a difference with oc results?

I ran my test with registered DDR2-533 (the standard was/is DDR2-400 registered) and managed to hit the BIOS ceiling of 255 MHz FSB. I don't have my final rig up yet because of a little detail called college :\, but I'm not sure if I'd hit the same number w/ DDR2-400. Note that it does require registered memory; also, DDR2 registered is reputed to actually overclock well, whereas most DDR1 registered is rather dismal here.
