Anyone have some good tips on removing a stock Intel HSF on a socket 370 CPU, that or a good guide to doing it... I can't seem to get the stupid thing unclipped....

Heh, ya I do unfortunately it just goes over the basics of undoing the clips and removing the HSF... The real problem is getting the damn clips off, those things are hooked on there tight and it's not just a simple case of sticking a screwdriver in there and popping them off.. I'm think of actually cutting the clip in half and taking it off that way if I have to but I'd kinda like to re-apply this stock HSF if I could that's why I need some advice on removing it safely...

try seeing if you can shift the clip one way or the other alittle
if you can you could move the excess to one side and then unclip it on that side
works with Pentium 1s anyway
