When preparing to install my Maze4GPU on my x850xt card I was careless when removing the TIM on the core and got it all over the capacitors that are around the core.

Is the TIM that ATI (Powercolor) uses conductive? Would it be fatal if I bridged the connections on those capacitors? What is the best way to remove the TIM? I tried using paint thinner and Q-Tips but I can't get it all off.

a speedy reply would be appreciated.
thanks

I use the arctic silver emulsifier and cleaner setup. The two step process does a good job for sure. Otherwise rubbing alcohal and q-tips.

what I use is a small brush and 99% iso alcohol to scrub it off, then use the air can to blow them off afterward. Works wonder. :)
