Device conflict, help please

Hi,

I have a soundblaster live i've been trying to install in my system, specs are below:

asus k8n4-e deluxe latest bios (1009)
winfast 6600gt tdh
2x512mb pc 3200 ocz el plat 2
sempron 2800+

When i go to device manager i keep seeing my pci device as unkown. The card is put in pci slot #3.

I have tried slot #2 I cannot put it on slot #1 as it would hamper my video cards cooling.

Anyways when I check out the conflict tab of the unkown pci device i get this:
Input/Output Range FFFC - FFFF not available.
Input/Output Range 1100 - 1101 not available.

I've tried playing with the pnp settings (0n/off) and manually assigning irqs (i can select any irq and my choices are pci device or reserved.) I've even disabled all onboard features I don't need (including sound)

I've already reinstalled windows with no luck.
If i try to install the sound card drivers the program tells me the card is not installed (no sound blaster detected)

using windwos 2000 the options to uncheck automatic settings are disabled. This is so frustrating.

can anyone please help me out?
