I'm on a budget and need a card that can run games at 1280x1024 at good quality with good frame rates my monitor does 60hz at that resolution max, so nothing crazy. I have p4 3ghz, 512mb ram, and onbard video. I have pci x16. Will anything in the $20-$51 range help me?

$50 bucks, I think maybe a x300 but that will be a little more than $50 maybe $65 or so.
And TBH I don't know if it can run most games at that Res at good quality you might have to drop to med, low. Maybe at a lower res it can run on good quality.

I just recently bought a ti4200 for 30 bucks, sound about in your price range. Not dx9 but runs stuff ok with the new drivers. Watch the close out sales on older cards.

True he could find older cards in his price range...His only problem is he is looking for PCI-e and most older cards in that range will be AGP.

Another PCI-e that might suite your needs is a Geforce 6200 which is around $50

I can't game at 1280x 1024 or even 1024x768(in think) in EE2 when a lot of units are on screen on lowest difficulty.

Who make this and where can I get it. No luck anywhere finding it. How old is it?

What card are you referring to? Both ATi's X300 and the Geforce 6200 can be found on Newegg.

The ti4200, but links, stats, pics, prices, etc. of any the cards are more than welcome.

Medium- low graphic quality is fine, but I want the crisp graphics at high resolution.

Well it has 64MB onboard and supports 256...I'm guessing that it will use up to 192MB of your systems RAM if you ask it to. You might want to look into something that has atleast 128MB of RAM since you want to run @ 1280x1024. Between the one you linked and the X300 above I think I would choose the X300.

It's X600PRO, hence not as good. I did a Google search to find out performance difference between X300 and X600PRO.
I also noticed it had VIVO as well. Sort of unique I guess.
EDIT: Benchmarks I was looking at: http://www.gen-x-pc.com/pcie_VG_Review.htm
