Intel board 850dg

I gotta intel 850dg board i think.. whats the fastest processor i could pop in it when i decide to upgrade

I'm assuming that motherboard uses the 850 chipset, if so, then it depends on whether it's a socket 423 or a socket 478. The 423 pin P-4 CPUs currently only go up to 2.0 gig and will soon be obsolete. The 478 pin CPUs will eventually go up to about 3.0 gig I think.
