I have a wrt54g and a Befsr41. I use the wrt54g as my main hooked up to my modem. How can I hook up my befsr41 to my wrt54g? Make sense?

What are you trying to accomplish?

What is the IP information on the LAN side (where you connect the pc's to) of the WRT54?

IP information needed:

DHCP range
Subnet Mask
Default Gateway
DNS Servers

obtain this information by going to the command prompt and typing "ipconfig /all"

Then post back with the requested info

Basically, if you want them to both co-exist on the same network, you will need to go into the config on the BEFSR41 and turn off DHCP Server, and change the Management IP to something like 192.168.x.2, instead of the default 192.168.1.1. Then, connect with a crossover cable, between the WRT54G and the BEFSR41 (dont use the WAN port on the BEFSR41). That should be all that is needed.

I have both of these routers. Crossover cable is not needed. A regular Cat5 cable worked fine for me.

Yes, most newer routers/switches will have auto sensing ports, so a crossover may not be needed.
