Then go here GRC.com (http://www.grc.com/default.htm) it's a good little site for checking your security i nearly passed but just failed lol and yea somone has been attacking me latly i noticed there IP keeps popping up lol but i'll sprt it out later! :rolleyes:

That site was like one of the first sites for Internet security. I used them back in 1998 when having a firewall was overkill. 56k was all the rage then came free dialup.

yeah i just re-found the site after a friend checked my ports over the net and said i had loads open so i adjusted my firewall settings and probed myself and then visited that site need one or two more modifications and i'll be good lol

@crana... yea i read that was an interesting read lol btw i was gibson - ok im not gibson lol but i wish i could do stuff like that (not for illigal use just to mess about with friends :))

Thanks, I actually used this among other sites before. Though recently got PC-Cillin and was yet to test its firewall. Everything it said was stealthed so guess I am good for now.

That site can prove to be pretty useful. I ran the tests for it on my linux comp, and it kept telling me "blah blah blah this is really uncommon for a windows computer." Haha. It doesn't even realize that I'm not running Windows. How stupid... but funny! :p
