Does anyone know what a "VU Meter" measures, sound wise? It's a graph in NVIDIA's NVMixer application, and it appears that whenever it hits red or yellow I hear static, but I'm not entirely sure. What exactly is VU metering?
I also have another issue w/ NVMixer where if I set it to Headphones (I have headphones...Sennheisers) it gives me this static and that VU meter goes yellow and red. But when I set it to "2 Speakers" it goes away, but it has alot less bass :( anyone know whats up w/ this? Thx.
