making a desktop screenshot

when i print a desktop with media player or powerdvd showing all i get is a black screen even when its paused.

how come?

and how to fix it?

I got the same problem too... I used to capture screen shots all the time with Win98, but with win2k or XP, just cant do it.... :rolleyes:

figured it out load 2 videos take a screen shot and then its fixed

and once the second videos running you can take a screen shot

i have no problem taking screeners when the movie is playing in full screen.

beats alt + printscreen
the reason it does wrok has something to do with directX/direct draw
