2 questions for SK-6

1) Which is better to use, thermal pad, artic silver or both?

2) If I connect the fan to the motherboard (and not to the PSU) for watching it performance I may burn /exhaust my system?

1) thermal paste is better then thermal pads beacuse paste fills the gaps, artic silver is the best because it contains lots of silver(duh) use it on its own, to find out how to used it go to their web site www.articsilver.com (duh)

2) all that will happen it that the connectors will 'melt' and stop working, i would take out the +12 volt wire buy a four pin molex connector and stick it in one of those (the molex connectors are the ones on your powersupply, be sure to get the opposite ones and plug it in were the yellow wire should be
