er.... no, i dun think so, first of all BX is for PIII, and currenly i have not yet seen any pIII dat support DDR ram. as for intel, only the new PX266 or somefing dat support DDR ram, and this chipset is for PIV.

BTW BX/ZX is too old now, the max i think the bx would support is 866mhz and zx is just....... cant be bother mantioning it.
so if u want to use DDR ram, go for AMD. :D :D as itz cheap and fast.

VIA has a chipset that supports PIII and DDR.....ANy motherboard with an Apollo Pro 266 (or 266T) will support a FCPGA (FCPGA2 if 266T) and DDR. Several manufacturers have this one out there (including Abit and Asus). If you really want a mobo with PIII and DDR get one that uses the 266T chipset, as this one support the new Tualatins (like the new celerons)......

BX chipset was made for SDRAM only.
Also the DIMMS must be 256Meg sticks or lower, no 512 support either.
As for a max speed of CPU in a BX being 866 MHz....
Well if it is, my board is doing something odd....
got a celeron @ 1066 in my BX board.
