What is it that makes an Athlon MP 1800 almost US$90 more than an Athlon XP 1800 (prices from pricewatch.com).

well nothing except the fact that it will run 10-12% faster than a Normal Xp 1800 in a dual board setup.

2 MP chips will ouit perform 2 XP chips if ran in a dual setup, at the same mhz

US$180 and that's it? Guess they're mainly for businesses. I'll be happy to stick with simple OCing.

How do you know that two MP1800+ will be 10-12% faster then two XP1800+ in SMP? Got any benchmarks, or a URL link that shows this??
