just finishing building a new computer system. My problem is that I can't access my CD, DVD or Floppy Drives. After loading windows XP and MS Office XP and other software. This happen all of sudden, don't know exact
I haven't been able to access any of the previosly mentioned drives. This is my first time using an SATA HD Drive. I don't kknow if this is the problem or not. When I try to install another CD software program or play a music disk
or install from a floppy disk, I get the following messages; "D:\is not accessible, incorrect function", "E:\is not accessible, incorrect function", "A:\is not accessible, incorrect function". I tried several (all) tasks to solve the problem; cleared the CMOS, reseated the cables, checked the
BIOS; indicated correctly, device manage indicated listing correctly. At this point I can't or don't know steps to try to solve my problem. Any and all responses or suggestions will be greatly apprecited in advance.
My system consist of the following components
MSI K8N Neo2-F NF3 Ultra Motherboard
Athlon 64 3000+ 939 CPU
2X512 D400 PSD1 G400K Memory
MSI GE6200 128M AGP Video Card
Western Digital 80GB SATA Hard Drive
Aspire Xinfinity W/420w PSU Case
TCDRW ATAPI CD Drive
NEC 3104E DVD Drive
