I sure hope so. Not that I'm gonna buy one (for that I should have $$, shouldn't I ? :rolleyes: ), but if they don't, Intel will launch their new P4 northwood @ 2.3 GHz, and once again AMD will be in the back seat

Come first quarter next year, XP will be crap compaired to Thoroughbred. Thats what I plan on getting :)

OK, where do you guys find out all this release date and product info?! I have not heard anything about the xp 2000+, the new intel or the thoroughbread. fill me in. i was about to buy the xp 1800+! bad or good idea? I can wait. tell me.

I was told the Thoroughbred will be delayed since the palomino (XP) is fast enough...for now anyway :rolleyes:

if you goto AMD's website, they have roadmaps of their projects. also, read anandtech, tom's hardware, and this site. it usually takes a TON of reading, and a lot of searching, but the info IS out there. plus, just ask in some forums :)
