YMMV free quake 4 shirt

So I go into my local EB games and pick up Quake 4. Right before I go to checkout, I see that they still have a couple preorder boxes left marked with a free shirt. I ask if I can actually just buy the preorder box and then buy the game so I can get a shirt. The clerk says dont worry about it and just hands me a box.

This is an extreme YMMV. But hey, if you happen to go buy quake 4, look to see if they have anymore of the preorder boxes. It's worth a shot IMHO.

I went to buy the game today at Best Buy and they were out with none on order. Guess I will try this deal when I get off work.

actually a friend of mine scored a free quake 4 shirt at his best buy (atlanta store somewhere) same way pre-order box....I Went to mine here in huntington, wv...they had none..ymmv!
