Just got these today and been hard at work testing them all day.

Well after about 5 hours I hit the sweet 300MHz with 3-4-4-8 at 2.9V, but still in process of testing and pushing them more.

Here is a quick preview:

Just got it stable at 300MHz at 3-3-3-8/3V on 1:1.

I'm really impressed with this RAM so far as it OC's like crazy and like nothing else out there when it comes to 1GB sticks. Even though the CAS can't work at 2.5 or anything bellow 3 it's still impressive considering that not many 1GB kit out there can get past DDR600 unless you got some top notch TCCD's.

Running at 3V they don't get very hot, at least to the touch even when under high load but I still have them active cooled by 2x70mm.

I can easily say that 4Y/5B D's are without a doubt the best 1GB chips out there, but to bad Crucial won't share them with anyone else as these have great potential of running beyond DDR600 if ran on better PCB's.

I still have some testing to do so expect even higher results ;)

Wow thats impressive, is it safe to run those at 3v 24/7 ?

We shall see how they do overnight, but I don't see any harm done since I have been runnign TCCD's with 3.2V for over 2months with active cooling.

Micron chips have been known to get hot, but these are really cool to touch even when under load but as I said I have them active cooled.

No. He has very strong RAM cooling which makes this possible. Typically speaking these chips produce an incredible amount of heat

Not really it's just a vantec card with dual 70mm which barely do 1200RPM's, but that's better then nothing.

5B G's on 512MB (that's where Micron chips got their reputation of running hot) sticks generally get much hotter but these have been running cool so far.

Just got home like 1/2 hour ago and started testing. Here is my new high at 305MHz/3.1V at 3-3-3-8. If I manage to get it stable at 32MB PI it will be new record for 2GB kit OC ;)

Mate, haw far can you push it with CAS 2.5? Did you take off the heatcover?

Micron chips don't take 2.5 CAS, at least 5BD's and no didn't take the heatspreaders of yet since I just got them and don't want to void the warranty ;)

oh, i see, thanks man.
How come your super pi 32M is a bit high? TCCD (my patriot XBLK) @ 3-4-4-10
gave me 27m:11s. I dont mean bad or brag "mine better than yous". I am just curious if A64 X2 is little slower than Venice 3000 (bothe @ 2700Mhz.)
What if you use the 10x multiplier and try 270fsb, see if can reduce Super Pi 32M. Also would be a good Idea to see what Everest Latency gives you 9x, vs 10x.
