Is it worth the upgrade and money?

My rig is a Duron 750, not o/c'ed, with 256mb pc133 cas2, geforce 2mx 32mb, and wait for it two 3gig hdd's (got them for free so i never got round to buying a new one).

My ? is i was thinking about getting a AMD Thunderbird 1200, 200 FSB, is it worth it i mean will i see much diff for my money, which is £95 for the chip + £12 for the fan/heatsink.

Also was thinking of uping the ram, adding 512mb. i am running 98se, but will most likley get xp.

And i was think of getting a 40 or 60 gig 7200rpm hdd.

so what is worth upgrading and what is'nt...thx

My motherboard (fic AZ11E) can take a 1.3 tbird 200fsb

The price on the 1.4 has dropped so much, I can't see buying anything slower. If your mobo can't handle that, then I'd purchase the HDD for now, and save my pennies for a new mobo, pally, DDR combo.

If i where you i would wait till your ready to upgrade the mobo and ram so you can get ddr.
