Im looking for the brighest, bluest UV reactive dye I can find. I tried the DD stuff and poured the entire bottle in, lit up ok. Then I tried some PC ICE (32oz premixed bottle) which doesnt even light. Any suggestions? I got dual 12" at the top and bottom, being the only 2 things that produce light in my case.

I don't know what you are expecting, but I use the visible blue UV dye from cool-cases-usa and am happy with it so far.

Have you tried using some UV tubing also? That would be better, as you would be able to use less dye which isn't the greatest for your pump.

i too wouldnt mind knowing the brightest blue dye, i checked the stuff on frozencpu, and it doesnt seem that bright.. i know blue would be a prick of a colour to make bright compared to say, green, but yeah.. if anyone has anyother places that sell bright blue dye, please share the info :P

You're not going to get bright results with blue, you gotta get green UV dye. Whatever you do don't get it from CrazyPC, their stuff dyes your tubes. I got a bottle of green UV from FrozenCPU and it's much better.

LOL nice idea but no.

This is pure phosphorescent pigment

200 mesh powder great for silk screening, ceramics, glazes, porcelains, inks, lacquers, wax, gels, makeup, nail art, crafts

This Type B Luminescent powder works in paraffin, crystalline, soy, beeswax and gel

This Type B pigment can be used in "oil based mediums only "

i agree with the uv tubing idea. They have blue uv tubing that is still see-through so you can still see the liquid.

get the stuff from www.frozencpu.com - the stuff from DD is the "clear blue" dye that sucks a big one

I have the blue UV dye from frozen CPU and it's not that impresive either brightness wise, a little better than the stuff from DD but still not very reactive and I have 3 15" cold cathode UV lights in my case.
