Does anyone know if it's possible to run a BFG 7800 GTX OC and a Leadtek PX6800 Ultra TDH in SLI, also is SLI possible on a ASUS P5WD2 Premium motherboard or is SLI still not yet possible on the ASUS P5WD2 Premium.

no, the cards have to be 100% identical and no, it cannot run SLI

100% brand + model identical? or 100% chipset identical? ie- Can you run a Leadtek 6800U and an XFX 6800U in SLI?

the brand has to be the same.

I think its the actual cards BIOS that needs to be the same correct ?

So technically if you flashed both cards to the same bios would it work ?

Actually this is incorrect. The new 81.85 and newer drivers support mismatched SLI, which allows two different cards (of the same chipset and RAM amount) to run in tandem. For example, one tester was running an eVGA 7800GTX (430/1200) with an XFX 7800GTX EE (490/1300) without any issues. Only earlier drivers require identical boards and clock speeds. :)

Still needs to be the same type of card though.

To sum things up, to run SLI with the latest 80 series drivers you need two of the same type of card (i.e. 7800GTXs only or 6800Ultras only) so putting two different type cards like in the case you are asking will not work. To your other question, for now the 955X does not support SLI, but the upcoming 975s are suppose to.

also, the new 80 drivers allow for mismatched ram size cards to sli, like a 256mb and a 128mb card can now SLI.
