None of them are great, why do you want usb, and built in mic?

for somereason microphones do not want to work with my computer. i bought a cheap soundcard from compusa just to use the microphone port and it wored for like 2 hours and then stopped again. I like microphones because i play alot of games that use them. Should i just get like a good set and then get a good sound card and see if that works. like not get usb.

yeah i had a plantronics usb headset a while back (not sure which one it was. it was a counter strike version though.) and it didn't sound too bad.

the plantronics audio .90 are NOT USB based, but its DSP500 counter-part is. I had that headset for a year and a half, a very nice set and VERY bassy. Can be had for $50-60 online.

oh whoops. yeah, i forgot about the USB part. the DSP500 is really nice too. comfortable as hell and if anybody tells you they're fragile or any of the plantronics are fragile and cheap, forget about them. i have sat on my audio .90 and they still haven't broken. unless you really want to break them, you're out of luck. only way they could get any more comfortable would be to add some nice foam on the top.

plantronics are known for breaking easily and of really poor quality. I have some audio .90s that broke every month but I won some dsp-500's (counter-strike) edition and they worked for a year and a half. Its like a hit or miss with plantronics. Good thing I had the 3 year warranty no questions asked at best buy when I used audio .90's :>

PC155's are probably the "best" usb headset you'll find. There's a good deal on some in the classies right now, new in box. :)
