What kind of demo are you looking for? Music? Movies?
I got one with my DTS receiver and it's pretty unbelievable. From what I gather folks are selling them these days. If you Google DTS sound demo you will see several listings.

not sure. i was watching T3 the other day, and i loaded the disc up differently on my DVD system and it came up with a really old DTS "available in this theatre" video thing, but the sound was unbelievable. i install AV equipment in the UK so love anything to do with it, but i cant find anything   ill try the google search thing. i could also try rippin the dts bit off the disc, but copyright and all..........
MY TV (http://www.panasonic.co.uk/widescreen-tv/tx32pd50c/index.htm)
a DVD system similar to mine(not the best i know) (http://www.panasonic.co.uk/home-cinema-systems/scht880/index.htm)
EDIT: found a disc on ebay. but its £4.99. not sure if i should get it for what could be a cheap copy.

I have an all Klipsch system and you are correct it is better than the theaters by far. I'd have to go to a few theaters in NYC to hear better. It's a good thing this house is sturdy or I swear I'd split a wall!

I have a rather large dts DVD collection. If you are looking for showpiece dvd's to show the advantages of dts over dolby digital here are a few:
Blade 2
Behind Enemy Lines
Daylight
Final Destination 2
I Robot
Lord of the rings (fellowship/two towers/return of the king) Extended edition
Saw
Starship Troopers (Superbit)
The Day After Tomarrow
xXx (Superbit)
Ultimate X
Those are some of my top picks that simply astound people when they listen to them.

How dare you not have Saving Private Ryan? Or even the movie that introduced DTS 12 years ago...Jurassic Park? :D
Beware of buying "DTS" DVD on E-bay. It's full of phonies that like to mention the movie has a DTS soundtrack in which it doesn't (rare on some imports). Case in point, Star Wars. For this movie you will usually see it has "DTS 5.1" blah blah, only from Malaysia, riiight. No such thing, never an official DTS release so why must people lie....: temper:
You can go on E-Bay and look for official DTS Demonstration discs as they are numbered (#1, #2, #3+, etc.). Each demonstration disc include different material like music videos ex: Eagles Hotel California and movie clips like The Haunting, Saving Private Ryan and so on.
DTS owns Dolby. :burn:

jurassic park was dolby surround sound. not dts or even 5.1, remember the old one with mono rear speaker(not good not, but so cooooool back then). mind u, i may be wrong. my dvd of saving private ryan isnt dts either, its dolby digital.
There were dolby and DTS versions of those movies.
I would like to add Gladiator into the mix. That movie sounds real good also on DTS. First time I cranked that and Saving Private Ryan on the AVR5700, it was like an earthqauke.

Yes it was. Jurassic Park was the first movie to come out in theaters with a DTS 5.1 soundtrack. Also the DVD was also released in both DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1. I think I've got the DD version and I can't really say I'm impressed with it. If I could find it cheap, I might try the DTS version sometime to see if it's any better.
This belongs in Sound Systems.
Rarity of disks might have to do with that DTS is quite a closed format in the sense that theaters with DTS equipment (the DTS test site is close to here) need to get specialist technicians to come and work with the box that reads the audiotrack. I also assume that this has to do with the fact that DTS receivers tend to be a bit pricier.

Considering that most any HT receiver you buy these days supports both formats, I'm not sure that's really so much of an issue anymore. I think it's more just that Dolby is A) more well known and B) there's simply not as much demand for the discs with DTS. I think most would rather spend the space on more special features and improved video quality. That's probably one of the reasons why you only see DTS on two discs sets in many cases.
