Hi,

What software is out there that i could create my own games? Software like the quake 3 engine. Also software that will scan my drawings and split them up into polygons, and that will let me edit/ modify the images.

As you can tell i don't know much about making games so if you could lead me in the right direction it will be much appreiated.
And yes, i know this software won't be cheap.

Thanks,
Paul

You'd probably need something like ASM to do that kind of stuff.

Found a link to a program called DarkBASIC , perhaps not up to the standard of the Q3 engine but worth a look. http://www.darkbasic.com/
I'm not sure by what you mean "splitting your scanned images into polygons". Packages such as Newteks Lightwave allow you to map images onto polygons. You can order a demo CD of the latest version from http://www.lightwave3d.com/
