Really bad question, but I still would like it answered. Before I overclocked my processor, my memory was very underclocked. Now as it nears 1:1 divider it is still slightly underclocked but it gets flaky with any timings under 3-4-4-7 (when its stock 2-3-2-6) and eats up my volts.

Why? It's running under stock mhz and latencies...

edit: oh yea, and I might as well throw out do you reccomend dividers to reach a little over rated mhz or 1:1 that is underclock on ram?

could you post your system setup? It's hard to see what exactly you mean without knowing what you are running.

Was Celeron D 335 @ 2.8 133mhz asynch bus

Now overclocked Celeron D 335 @ 3.8 180 1:1 bus
Ram is OCZ DDR400 so my ram should be 200mhz
and had to lower timings to what stated above and raise VDIMM up .3v

if your ram is indeed pc3200 (ddr 400mhz) there is absolutely no reason to relax the timings on your ram until you exceed 200mhz fsb. Set your ram to 2.8volts and 2-3-2-6 like it is rated.

There is no way your ram, rated for 200mhz, needs to be relaxed when you are runing 180mhz bus.
