Thing over heats even at stock speeds. I cant stop it from going to 50 degrees. My cpu temps are in the 40's. I have noticed however that the heatsink with this premium board is of the cheap quality coming with the lessor board (not the black anymore)
 
something's only overheating if it causes errors
are you talking about the chipset temperature? the black and silver heatsinks are the same btw. if you're that concerned just get some airflow over it, they don't produce much heat.
 
The the silver heatsink is better then the old black one its also larger, I still put a 40mm fan on mine turning at its slowest speed and it keeps it nice and cool.
